The outer side of Ophena A safety stirrups have a fully removable silicone piece called The Twister™, which can be released at two independent points and in any direction. (Patent is pending in our new 360° double safety release technology.)
Even though The Twister may seem like a simple piece of silicone, it has been crafted to provide ultimate safety for riders. There is a complex, highly functional geometry behind The Twister that makes it so unique - you will not find safety stirrups like this anywhere else. It features anchor-like ends that perfectly match their aluminium counterpart, and allow The Twister to release in case of an accident.
In addition to our new technology, the stirrups have an excellent diamond tread that keeps your foot from slipping in the stirrups. Also, the stirrups have integrated dampening: easier for your knees!
